Scope of Work: Supply, installation, testing and certification of one Axxessline Extremity Post with D Ring Toggle Fixed.
Overview:
Think Worksafe Ltd was engaged to supply, install, test and certify one Axxessline Extremity Post with D Ring Toggle Fixed at the Midland Metro facility in Great Bridge, Dudley. The post was installed through a 170mm roof build-up for a PVC membrane, in accordance with the agreed quotation and the relevant RAMS documentation.
Scope and Challenges:
The scope covered the following:
- Supply, installation, testing and certification of one Axxessline Extremity Post with D Ring Toggle Fixed
- Installation through a 170mm roof build-up for PVC membrane
- Works carried out in accordance with EN 795:2013, CEN/TS 16415:2013 and BS 8610
- Delivery included within the agreed contract value
Works will be undertaken by IRATA-trained technicians, with all PPE supplied by Think Worksafe. Clients receive login access to the Think Worksafe cloud management platform GetKonnected, providing visibility of all site operatives, equipment logs and daily site activities. The site is expected to be fully scaffolded prior to commencement and the client will provide suitable welfare facilities and unobstructed access throughout the duration of works.
Project Solution
One Axxessline Extremity Post with D Ring Toggle Fixed was supplied, installed, tested and certified through a 170mm roof build-up for PVC membrane. Installation was carried out in accordance with EN 795:2013, CEN/TS 16415:2013 and BS 8610.
Fixings were verified to be correctly deployed on completion and photographic evidence was recorded and submitted via the Think Worksafe management platform.
Execution Summary:
On-site works were completed in a single day, with a start time of 08:00 and finish time of 17:00. Works were carried out across the roof area as per the site drawings.
