Fall Arrest Systems

Certified fall arrest systems that stop a fall safely when restraint is not an option.

Fall Arrest Systems

Think Worksafe designs, installs and certifies fall arrest systems for roofs, plant and structures across the UK.

A fall arrest system does not stop you reaching an edge. It catches you if you fall and limits the forces on your body. We specify it where fall restraint cannot give the access your team needs, such as roof perimeters, fragile roofs, gantries and plant rooms.

Every system is designed around the structure, the route users need to take and the rescue plan that goes with it. We install to BS EN 795 and BS 7883 and hand over with full certification, so you meet your duties under the UK Work at Height Regulations from day one.

Facilities managers, contractors and building owners use us for new builds, retrofits and compliance upgrades. The same team returns each year for testing and recertification, so the system stays compliant for the life of the building.

What We Offer

We design, install, test and recertify fall arrest systems for commercial, industrial and public sector sites.

Horizontal Lifeline Systems

Permanent cable lifelines that keep users connected across long roof runs and complex layouts. Shock absorbers and energy-absorbing posts keep arrest forces within safe limits for both the user and the structure.

Anchor Points and Eyebolts

Single-point anchors, roof anchors and eyebolts rated for fall arrest, fixed to steel, concrete, masonry or standing seam roofs. Each anchor is pull tested and tagged before handover.

Vertical and Ladder Fall Arrest

Rigid rail and cable systems for fixed ladders, towers and silos, so climbers stay attached from the ground to the top. Suitable for new ladders and retrofits to existing access.

Testing and Recertification

Fall arrest equipment needs a thorough examination at least every 12 months. We inspect, load test and recertify lifelines, anchors and eyebolts, and we keep the records you need for audits.

Why us

Choose fall arrest systems that are specified correctly, installed properly and certified for the life of the building.

Why Choose Think Worksafe?

Think Worksafe is a specialist height safety installer. We work on live sites, occupied buildings and operational plant, and we plan every job around the people using the roof, not just the drawing.

We work alongside our sister company Think Access, so we can install by rope access where scaffold or MEWPs cannot reach. We follow BS 7883 for anchor installation and provide full documentation, including system drawings, test certificates and user guidance.

You get one partner for fall arrest, fall restraint, guardrail and roof walkway systems, and the same team comes back for annual testing.

F.A.Q’s

Fall restraint stops you reaching a fall hazard. Fall arrest catches you after a fall has started. Restraint is always the first choice. Fall arrest is used where the job needs access to the edge or over a fragile surface.

A competent person must inspect fall arrest anchors and lifelines at least every 12 months, and after any fall or impact. We provide recertification and keep the test records for you. Anyone using fall arrest also needs a rescue plan to recover a suspended worker quickly, and we can advise on this as part of the installation.
